Herb Chamomile Lawn
Herb Chamomile Lawn is a perennial, with single, daisy-like flowers and sweet smelling foliage, which is used to make the famous tea. Can also be used for home-made skin wash and shampoos. Grows to about 30cm. Used for ground cover, when mowed it makes a good substitute for lawn.

Where To Sow: Sow thinly in 1cm deep drills, spaced 20cm apart. Chamomile enjoys a well drained location. Does not like long dry summers.
What To Do Next: Thin out to 10cm apart. Keep well watered. Chamomile will self seed once established.
Handy Tip: Leaves from June-November once plant is established. Flowers can be picked from mid summer.
Nutritional Value: Known for its soothing natural juices. Ideal for sunbathing on since as you turn you will bruise the plants and thus release a soothing tincture of their healing natural juices.
Companion Plants: Cabbages, cucumbers and onions. Growing chamomile of any type is considered a tonic for anything you grow in the garden.
