Easily established from seed, it frequently forms dense colonies of brilliant red flowers with yellow rims. Flowers are often up to 3 or 4 inches across, for a real spectacle of color.
Blanket Flower Indian Blanket Gaillardia Aristata thrives in full sun in well-drained areas. Occasional watering will extend the blooming period. Allow seed heads to be completely dry prior to trimming and this will aid in reseeding for the following year.
