Flowers are two to three inches across and grow on a stalk up to eight inches long. Butterflies of many species are attracted to Black Eyed Susan.
Black Eyed Susan Rudbeckia Hirta grows perfectly in gardens, in borders and in flower beds. The plant grows in all regions of North America in any soil from sand to clay, but it must have full sun. Seed is very small; therefore, the surface sowing applies. Simply broadcast the seed over the desired area and press or roll seed into loosened soil if possible.
